We recommend building a strong organic Linkedin account before running Linkedin ads. This means optimising your profile for your target audience, including a detailed business description, up-to-date contact information, and so on. 

A strong organic Linkedin profile will improve the performance of your ad campaigns by increasing brand credibility. 

No, you do not need an existing Linkedin Ads account to start advertising on Linkedin with Springboard. Our team will help set up your ads account and advanced conversion tracking. 

If you already have a Linkedin Ads account, you can provide the Springboard Digital Business account with appropriate access permissions. 

On Linkedin, we can target your ideal audience based on job title, company size, professional interests, and more. 

Linkedin is renowned for its particularly precise audience targeting, as the nature of the platform means users keep their profile data up-to-date.

We typically set-up two foundational campaigns: a Prospecting campaign that aims to find and attract new audiences and drive them to your website, and a Retargeting campaign that re-engages users who have already engaged with your business online. 

Every business is unique, so we will tailor your Linkedin campaigns, ad sets, and ads to your goals. For example, we cater to different objectives with different campaign types, such as Display, Dynamic, Text, or Sponsored Content campaigns.  

You are responsible for providing Springboard with high-quality images and/or videos you want to use in your Linkedin ads. Springboard will take care of the rest – ad copy, conversion tracking, campaign set-up, ongoing technical optimisations, budget pacing, and so on. 

We will work with you to refresh your ads every 4-6 weeks, or when data insights suggest your campaigns would benefit from doing so. 

This may be sooner than 4 weeks, or longer than 6 weeks – every business is a little different.  

All Springboard clients receive access to a personalised digital marketing dashboard, where you can explore your ongoing campaign results whenever you wish. 

You will also have access to your Linkedin Ads account, from which you can view data insights native to the platform. 

The timeline for seeing results from your ads varies based on various factors, including your industry, budget, target audience, product or service, and what you consider ‘results’ to be, ie. increased website traffic, email list subscribers, or purchases. 

Initially, your campaigns will undergo Linkedin’s Learning Systems to discover your ideal target audience and what type of content drives them to take action. We therefore recommend allowing around two months to start seeing meaningful results.
